With Chromebooks taking over the 1:1 school device world, Chromebook covers and cases have become a huge deal. Kids are not always careful with their Chromebooks, so it makes sense to encourage them to use covers in order to protect the computers. GreenspinGifting is a green company, and we're proud to recommend the only fitted case for Chromebooks that can be reused or upcycled: The Cranium by Educabana.
The Cranium is the best protector for the Chromebook's flexible screen, but it's also a whiteboard made from PVC and aluminum. While some other fitted covers or cases can be thrown into the recycling bin (and that's also responsible), The Cranium can be reused as a message board, temporary art installment, or combined with other Craniums to create a full-size whiteboard.
While the Chromebooks themselves only have a useful life of five years, the Cranium will keep on providing a useful writing surface for decades. Upcycle as personal whiteboards for students or Word Walls in classes. Use them as suggestion boards or descriptive signs in hallways. Add magnets to use on lockers, chalkboards, or refrigerators. They could be sold this way as a school fundraiser.
If you use a combination wet-erase and dry-erase on the Craniums, then they can have a more permanent look that needs to be wet-wiped off along with temporary words that wipe clean with a tissue. This sort of use is great for daily announcements with some flair.
Sure, soft cases, if they survive for five years, can also be reused for the same purpose, but Craniums have the ability to be upcycled into all kinds of creative uses, unlike snap-on, fitted cases that cannot fit any other device.
